Filming Wraps On Episode One!
Updated: Jan 20, 2020

A milestone on the road toward The Nevers has been achieved! A little over a month after principal photography began on July 4th, the cast and crew have wrapped on episode one.
Filming on the first episode of Joss Whedon's HBO sci-fi epic saw the series shooting in several locations across south-east England including the Historic Dockyard Chatham, Trinity Church Square and the Charterhouse London.

In a recent interview on the Empire Film Podcast (which you can listen to here- just be sure to first pause the music,) Nick Frost spoke about his first day on the set of The Nevers as well as working with Joss; the implication being that Joss has directed the first episode of the series (as many suspected he would.)
Episode one wrapped with a scene filmed at The Mall, London in the vicinity of Buckingham Palace in the City of Westminster, central London.

Taking into consideration the recent casting announcements, the various filming locations, the sizable budget for this series and HBO staying mum on the series, waiting truly is sweet torture. We haven't been this excited for a new television series in a very long time and we can't wait to finally have Joss back on our screens.
